2023-24

U – 17 years team of SPIS, Kalwan demonstrated excellent performance in District Level Basketball Tournament organized on behalf of D.S.O. of Nashik.

The school team defeated the Ebenezer International School, Nashik, Good Shepherd School, Manmad, and the Ashoka Universal School Nashik team by 02-30,24-42, 08-28 respectively.

In the final match, they won the Delhi Public School team with a margin of 17-42 goals and qualified as the district winners.

This team has been selected for the Divisional Level Competition and the team consisted of Mast. Lumde, Mast. Arnav Shinde, Mast. Jaitun Shinde, Mast. Jayesh Shewale, Mast. Dhananjay Rajput, Mast. Laxman Chaudhary, Mast. Vipin Pawar, Mast. Vedant Pawar, Mast. Sahil Sangle, Mast. Kaustubh Aher, Mast. Yash Deore and Mast. Purvesh Patil have shown spectacular performance under the guidance of basketball coach, Akshay varma sir.

2022-23

Under-17 students performed brilliantly in Basketball 

Under 17-year-old age group students of Sharad Pawar International School, Kalwan, performed brilliantly in the District Level Basketball Tournament held at Avenger Basketball Ground on behalf of the District Sports Officer, Nashik.

In the first match, the School Team defeated the Ashoka Global School team by 24-7 points. In the Quarter-Final match they defeated the Igatpuri team with a margin of 26-9 points. In the Semi Final match they defeated the Ashoka universal team by 30-13 points.

In Finals they defeated the Wisdom team by 16-2 points.

The team has been selected at the Divisional Level and the team consists of Vedant Lumbde, Sumit Bhoye, Om Wagh, Jayesh Shewale, Dhananjay Rajput, Laxman Chaudhary, Mohit Aher, Rituraj Bhosle, Vipin Pawar, and Mayur Aher included.

The team was guided by the school coach Akshay Sir.

2018-19

Boys’ Under-14 Basketball team participated at District Level.

In the first match our team defeated Ebenezer International School.

In semifinal our team defeated Radiant International School comprehensively.

In final our team defeated wisdom High School 21- 20 and qualified for Divisional Level.
