

Celebration
The school garners the best values from the Indian tradition and other world cultures. The children are exposed to the rich Indian cultural and spiritual heritage creating a genuine respect for their country through celebrations of festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janamashtmi, Christmas, Dusshera, Independence & Republic Day in the school.
It is observed on a Poornima of the Margashirsha month by the Hindu calendar. As a cultural, holy tradition of SPIS, SPIS celebrated Datta Jayanti with religious and festive fervor to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Datta.
The palanquin was carried away with the procession from school to Kalwan, it was a grand procession with horse riders. Lezim band, Music-band and palanquin. Rope Mallakhambians and Gymnesians were the cynosure of either sides of the road. Spectators were mesmerized after watching the heart-throbbing performances. Students were chanting bhajans devotedly. Exhibiting skillful performances, wearing traditional sarees and carrying holy kalash looked magnificent. The celebration began with Aarti (Prayer) and ended with the distribution of Prasad (sweets). Spiritual serenity was showered all over. It flows like vibrant pearls.

“Happy International Yoga Day”
Yoga is a way to experience self and the outer world. As per the resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly 21 June is observed as International Yoga Day.
Amidst a global pandemic, SPIS embellished its morning dews in yoga demonstration.
Hon. Annasaheb ( Dr. J. D. Pawar, Founder of Shree Gurudatta Shikshan Sanstha), beloved Principal Mr. B. N. Shinde and yoga- teacher Mr. Bhavesh Patil demonstrated yogic postures.
Preparatory exercises warm up everyone. It was realised that these performed yogic postures (Aasanas) bring inward happiness and eternal blissfulness.
Hon. Annasaheb appealed all to make yoga part of life for betterment of physical and mental health.
“Happy International Yoga Day”
On 19th Feb 2023, Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaja Jayanti celebrated with great pomp and show in SPIS, Manur. Founder of school Dr. J. D. Pawar alias Annasaheb initiated the programme by garlanding the statue of Shivaji Maharaja. The students and teachers of all Classes, presented the Coronation Ceremony of Shivaji Raje. Principal Sir put light on the important events from the life of Shivaji Maharaja and motivated the students.

On 12 February 2023, at Sharad Pawar international school a grand farewell for class X and class XII was organized.
Farewell 2022-23 was inaugurated by honorable founder sir Dr. J. D. Pawar. Fonder sir highlighted the importance of education. Honorable Principal Mr. B. N. Shinde sir delivered farewell address and guided students for future journey. Honorable Principal senior secondary Mr. J. L. Patel sir explained in detail what micro planning Sharad Pawar international school does and executes it perfectly.
Class IX and Class XI students performed beautiful dances and sang melodious songs to bid farewell to Class X and Class XII students.

Birthday of Chairman of Gurudatta Shikshan Sanstha as well as Gurudatta Udyog Samuha, Shri. Shaileshdada J. Pawar (Dadasaheb) is celebrated on 1st August 2022. All sister concern of Sharad Pawar International school like- Hon. Sharad Pawar Pawar Junior College, College of Pharmacy (D.Pharm.), Loknete Dr.J.D.Pawar College of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.), Loknete Dr.J.D.Pawar College of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.),Ajitdada Pawar College of Education (B.Ed.), Prerana Foundation (Competitive Classes), etc. all staff was gathered to wish the beloved, young, dashing Chairman Shri.Shailesh Dada on his Birthday.

Colours Day Celebrations :[15th July 2019]
The Kindergarten Department celebrated Colours Day on 15th July 2019. This day is great fun for all involved and is designed to help the youngest children to identify and differentiate various colours, talk about them and think about how colour enhances and influences their lives.
The three classes were each allocated a colour –Yellow, Pink and Blue – and each room was decorated in the allocated colour. The children then came to school dressed in the colour allocated to their class and many brought objects – toys, fruit, vegetables or plastic household items in ‘their’ colour. The teachers too were dressed up in the same colour as their pupils.

SPIS too observed Yoga in letter and spirit as yoga is not only about exercise to discover the sense of openness with ourselves but also with the world and nature.
