Magnificent performance in Athletics

The students of Sharad Pawar  International School participated in the Taluka level Athletics Competition. The competition was held by D.S.O., Nashik and concluded on the J.P stadium, Kalwan.

Students achieved success by performing brilliantly in various sports. Shauryasingh Chandel won the first position in the U-14 individual sport shot put, while in the U-17 girls category, Diya Hivre secured the second position in the shot put event. Roshni Bagul also secured second position in javelin throw. Vaishnavi Elandersari secured second position in 200m and 100 m race, Rugved Kapadnis finished second in boys’ 5000 m walk and Dhananjay Chavanke finished second in 3000 m race. Jatin Gotrane secured first position in 200 and 100 meters event. Pranav Jadhav won first place in javelin throw, Durgesh Chaudhary in discus throw and Yashraj Pawar won first position in high jump.

In U-19 individual running event, Ajay Patel secured second position in 400 m and 100 m while Aditya Yadav secured first position in 200 m. Radhe Harde secured second position in both the discus and javelin events. Vaishnavi Elandersari, Diya Hivre, Roshni Bagul and Trupti Badole  bagged the first position in the U-17 team 4×100 relay category while Radhe Harde, Ajay Patel, Aditya Yadav and Vishal Bhamre bagged the first posit ion in the U-19 boys relay event. All the  above winning players have been selected for District Level competitions.

They were guided by Musawwar Ahmed, the athletic coach of the school.

In the District Level Athletics Competition, a student of the school, Durgesh Choudhary under U-17 Athletics event of Discus Throw qualified for Divisional Level.

He was guided by the school’s Athletics coach Mussawar Ahmad.
