2023-24

Grappling Glory! SPIS clinches medals in spectacular wrestling spectrum. In a riveting display of strength and skill the wrestling team of SPIS emerged victorious in fiercely contested wrestling competition held at Igatpuri and Yeola.

District level Wrestling competition was organized at Igatpuri SMBT College near Hanuman Akhada by D.S.O.

Following students clinched medals at the District level competition (Igatpuri- Nashik).

U-14 District level winners, following students secured medals. Miss. Miti Modis, Mast. Sai Gholap, Mast. Ashish Vakte, Mast. Kavya Bachhav, Mast. Shreeraj Patil secured medals.

U-17 District level winners are Mast. Harshal Thakare secured Second place and he got silver medal. Miss. Modi Miti got second place with silver medal at division level.

All the wrestlers were guided and trained by Jitesh Sir, Wrestling coach of SPIS.

2022-23

Wrestlers wrap in medals

Sharad Pawar International school’s wrestlers come up with flying colours in District Level Tournament organized by D.S.O. of Nashik.

All the wrestlers trounced the opponent with great margin.

Harshal Thakre bagged the Gold medal and qualified for divisional level whereas Sairaj Pawar bagged Silver medal.

Ashish Vakte, Niraj Borse, Sai Gholap, Jatin Valvi and Sarthak Bhamare carved their names on the Broze medals.

SPIS wrestlers are being trained regularly. All techniques and counter techniques have been taught to them perfectly.

We hope, future Maharashtra Kesari,  Hind Kesari and Olympians will be emerged in this ring.

2018-19

Our School wrestlers Mast. Bagul Rushikesh and Mast. Gaikwad Akash participated at Division Level.

In the final Mast. Gaikwad Akash bagged second position in 92 weight category.

Whereas Mast. Rushikesh Bagul made Dhule wrestler bite the dust in the 57 weight category and qualified for state.
